About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Nutrition Consultant. This role is ideal for a clinician who excels in evidence-based practice, patient-centered counseling, and innovative approaches to diabetes management and nutrition therapy.

You will play a key role in empowering individuals to improve their health through personalized nutrition guidance, diabetes self-management education, and ongoing support.

What We Are Hiring For:

This is a 1099 Position

Starting Salary: $125 Per Hour Plus Mileage

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct California culinary audits at 10 senior living communities every 6 months.
• Review menus for nutrition compliance
• Conduct nutrition assessments, develop care plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Lead group classes, workshops, or virtual education sessions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and professional standards
• Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and patient engagement initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging research, guidelines, and best practices in nutrition

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition, or related field
• ServSafe Certification Preferred
• Minimum 5 years of clinical or counseling experience
• Strong communication, motivational interviewing, and patient education skills
