What We Are Hiring For:

*Activities Assistant /Driver*

Schedule: Fri-Mon. 9AM-5PM

Salary Range: 18-20

What You’ll Do:

  • Recognize the psychosocial needs of the elderly.
  • Studies and analyzes seniors’ recreational needs and resources.
  • Conducts research and develops short- and long-range goals and objectives.
  • Continuously seeks out new activities, events, and excursions.
  • Know and understand the Community residents’ likes, dislikes, hobbies and interests.
  • Research and implement new programs and materials to satisfy and nourish residents' mind, body, and soul daily.
  • Maximize individual participation in events, while still respecting the resident’s right to privacy.
  • Supports the Resident Council and any other resident-led committees to assist residents in voicing concerns, suggestions, and requests.
  • Complete the orientation of all new residents.
  • Interprets programs and their philosophy to individuals and groups through personal participation and staff assignments.
  • Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
  • Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years or older, per Title 22 requirements
  • Experience working with older adults or other vulnerable populations.
  • Must be computer literate for communication, scheduling, ordering, tracking, basic graphic design, and activities and outing research.
