What we are hiring for: CAREPARTNERS/MEDICATION TECHNICIAN

Schedule: Full Time

  • Tuesday through Saturday 10PM-6:30AM
  • Sunday through Thursday 10PM-6:30AM
  • Friday through Monday 10PM-6:30AM

Pay Range: $18-19 Plus night shift differential

What You’ll Do:

  • Work on a team of Care Partners to assist our resident with activities of daily living that can include continence care, showering, grooming, transfer assistance, and meal assistance.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident care plans to management.
  • Document care accurately using company-provided devices and follow individual care plans.
  • Follow “Medication Training” policies and procedures regarding infection control, standard precautions, biohazard waste, sharps management, and disposal.
  • Keep the medication room, cart, cupboards, and records locked when not in use.
  • Count the narcotics following Company policies and procedures.
  • Destroy medications following Company policies and procedures.
  • Pour and assist residents with medications according to Physician orders, Medication Training, and Company policies and procedures.
  • Verify the resident’s medications prior to dispensation with the resident’s physician and every six months thereafter to provide the best service and make sure the resident is taking the proper dosages and the proper medication.
  • Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
  • Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years or older, per Title 22 requirements
  • Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required – we will train the right candidate!
